Low Resolution with Ubuntu on VirtualBox

Recently, I’ve tried Ubuntu on VirtualBox just because I need to constantly switch between Windows and Linux. After installing Ubuntu on VirtualBox, it was not exactly usable.

For one thing, the resolution was stuck at 1024 x 768, also the graphics has some glitches. After a few minutes of searching, I found the solution. You just need to install guest additions. To do so, just install these packages by running:

And it just works. Graphics is now smooth and I can now set a higher resolution. Hope this helps!
